Pokalde Peak

Pokhalde Peak, located in the Khumbu region, is only two or three miles from Everest, but its view is obscured by the Lhotse ridge. From its summit, however, one can get an impressive view of Mr. Makalu, Ama Dablam, and Pomouri.
Pokhalde is ideal for inexperienced mountaineers because it can be reached using only ropes and no other mountain equipment. Although the only difficulties encountered are sections of loose rocks, it is best not to attempt the climb in bad weather because its exposed terrains can be quite deceiving.
