Lobuche East Peak

Lobuche East is one of Nepal’s most popular “trekking peaks.” Lobuche East, which is conveniently located next to the path to Everest Base Camp, is attempted by trekking groups who come to see the spectacular view of Mt. Everest and the Khumbu valley from its summit, as well as serious 8000m mountaineers who use the peak for acclimatization and practice. The ascent is relatively straightforward, with few technical challenges. Base Camp and High Camp both have plenty of space and reliable water sources, allowing the climber to enjoy the mountain without having to worry about logistics.
